Company / Why SeeTheWork
Built by a technologist.
Grounded in the work.
SeeTheWork was founded by Arian Haghparast, a York University computer science graduate with a background in machine learning. We build simulations that make technical work visible to hiring teams.
Arian Haghparast · Founder
Arian’s background spans computer science and machine learning. SeeTheWork brings that technical foundation to a practical hiring problem: understanding how someone investigates, builds, verifies, and explains their work.
Technical interviews and take-homes can still leave a panel unsure how someone investigates a problem, checks a result, or explains a trade-off. SeeTheWork pairs a focused simulation with a review brief that points back to the work.
Four areas. Role-specific assignments.
We cover software engineering, data & analytics, ML engineering, and ML research. Each area calls for different work: fixing a system, investigating data, evaluating a model, or reproducing a research claim.
The review stays grounded in what the person produced, what the checks establish, and what remains open for discussion.
Keep the decision accountable
Participants should understand the task and tool policy. Reviewers should be able to inspect the source behind a finding. Missing evidence should remain visible, and the hiring team should make the final decision.
